I did a little video on how to use a tape loop with Bitwig Studio. Recording a sampling a cassette tape loop on an old Sony tape recorder with a modded loop tape.
Using my JD-Xi and a Sony tape cassette recorder, I was able to record a sample, twist and turn it in to a load of weird synth sounds and create a beat. This was an 8 min video on how to loop a cassette tape, but the end results are just the start of possibilities.

I got these TDK D90 Audio Cassette from Amazon and although most tapes will do the trick, you need to make sure they have screws in the corners instead of clips (as you’ll need to unscrew them and screw them back together again once you have cut the tape to size.)
